Tivoli Group to launch its first five-star hotel in Gurgaon by 2012
In a bid to establish its presence on pan-India basis, New Delhi-based Tivoli Group will launch its first five-star hotel in Gurgaon, which will be operational by 2012. Plans are afoot to open hotels in Jaipur and Dehradun. All these upcoming projects will have exclusive banquet facilities.
The Group has acquired 8.5-acre at Sector 20 in Gurgaon from the Government of Haryana to develop the five-star hotel. The hotel will have 300 keys and construction for the same will start by 2010. In addition, Tivoli Group has acquired four-acre land at Jaipur Ajmer Highway from Jaipur Development Authority and two-acre land in Dehradun. The Jaipur hotel will have 200 rooms whereas the hotel in Dehradun will have 100 keys. The amount of investment for these projects will be Rs 75 to 80 crore each. The Dehradun hotel will be operational by 2011 and the Jaipur and Gurgaon hotels will be operational by 2012.
Speaking on the developments, Rohit Gupta, CEO, Tivoli Group said, “We are focusing on capital cities as these cities have huge growth potential. Apart from the hotel rooms, banqueting facilities will be the USP of the upcoming hotels.
