Safexpress puts up 2.74 lakh sq ft logistics park
Supply chain and logistics company Safexpress Pvt Ltd unveiled its high-tech logistics park spread over 2.74 lakh sq ft area at Changodar on the citys outskirts on Saturday.
The park, which will provide trans-shipment and 3PL services, is part of the companys strategy to develop 32 ultra-modern logistics parks at key industrial hubs in India. This park is the companys third such facility after Gurgaon and Nagpur.
According to Safexpress officials, the decision to set up the park in Ahmedabad was taken because the city is fast emerging as a key logistics hub in India thanks to increased manufacturing activities and proposed SEZs.
