Roads between Delhi and NCR towns to be upgraded
Commuting between the capital and neighbouring towns in the region will soon become easier and less time consuming as the Delhi Government has initiated an eight-pronged action plan to widen and strengthen all roads, including the national highways.
While giving details of the action plan, Delhi Urban Development and PWD Minister A K Walia, said a strategy had been chalked out to effectively tackle the problem of traffic congestion on roads keeping in view the quantum of fast increasing vehicles.
All the projects relating to widening of existing important roads were being implemented in a phased manner. he said.
