Property angle to Gurgaon executive kidnap case
Deepak Mendiratta, the Gurgaon-based executive who had gone missing on August 2 but returned home 10 days later under mysterious circumstances, says he had been abducted by a property dealer, called Sunil.
Mendiratta told the police that when he had gone to meet Sunil on August 2, he made him a softdrink laced with drugs. Mendiratta is a high-ranked employee of AdroitQuest, a manpower consultancy firm.
The 32-year-old executive claims he had given Sunil Rs 8.5 lakh two years back for a land deal in Alwar. The DLF City resident has, however, not given any other details of Sunil to the police.
