INDIA: RIL to setup Rs 25,000 cr SEZ in Gurgaon
CHANDIGARH: The deal to setup Rs 25,000 crore multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near Gurgaon would be sign on 19th June between Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries and state government, top governmental officials said here on June 12.
RIL would account for 20 percent and is expected to tie-up with other companies for development of the SEZ.
Officials further added that the actual schedule date to sign, which was 13th June, has cancelled due to the differences in the ruling Congress.
However the postponement was sought by RIL and that there was no change in the terms and conditions.
The proposed SEZ with an estimated investments of Rs 1,25,000 over the next three to four years would be spread over 25,000 acres.
