Gurgaon Properties News: DLF-III residents powerless for 12 hrs
GURGAON: It was a tiring Thursday for residents of Gurgaon who had to brave 12 hours of power cuts and accompanying woes. Due to a major power cut, residents of DLF Phase-III went without power for about 12 hours on Thursday.
The power supply went off at 10 am due to a fault at Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitiran Nigam, (DHBVN) substation in Block-Q. However, there were no power cuts in DLF Phases-I, II, IV and the rest of the city.
As inverters also gave way by evenings, residents had a hard time battling heat. The power cut today revealed the incompetency of the authorities in restoring the supply during a crisis, said Anamika Khanna, resident of phase III.
