Fairmont to open hotel in Jaipur
The ‘Pearl of Swiss Riviera’ and the first global hotel brand to join forces with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to address climate change, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, will set foot in India with its first Property in Jaipur near Amber.
The largest luxury hospitality chain in North America with 56 iconic properties and 22,000 hotel rooms around the globe will also be the largest so far in Jaipur. Scheduled to be launched in September 2010, the hotel will be a 248-room property.
The hotel is at present under construction, adjacent to Le Meridien on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. With Jaipur developing as an attractive meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions destination, the hotel hopes to capitalise on this, especially with its green tag.
