Dr Kidney s Canada home up for sale
Alleged kidney thief Amit Kumars palatial home in Canada is up for sale for $634,900, or Rs 2.6 crore.
The 5,600 sq ft home, located in the tony Toronto neighbourhood of Brampton city, has been listed for sale on the website of the local real estate board. The house is co-owned by Kumars wife Poonam Kumar, who went underground after the kidney racket was unearthed.
A local Canadian resident had used the power of attorney for Kumar at the time of the purchase in February 2007. The house is now being sold by a lawyer acting in trust for the owners of the property. The lawyer could not be reached for comments.
