The Central Park will never be the same again. The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has drawn up an ambitious plan of Rs 3.6 crore for its modernisation, upgradation and for developing it as a theme park. The concept of theme park is based on the fact that the entire designated stretch of the park would have seasonal flowers so that visitors get enthralled with the enigmatic fragrance. Every new season will greet the people with new and seasonal flowers.
Plans are also on the anvil for creating new water bodies including a number of tiny lily ponds that would also house various native and exotic aquatic plants and other flowers including the Indian lotus.
The park will have a high-tech nursery and a glass house for developing and culturing exotic and native bamboo varieties. It is only India where we have more than 200 species of bamboo available. This ultra-modern nursery will be managed by the experts in the field, JDA officials said.

Spencers on an expansion drive in Jaipur
Spencers Retail, part of the Rs 113 billion - RPG Group has drawn up plans to expand in Jaipur. The company launched its first hyper store in Jaipur Thursday and plans to expand in the city with six more stores - a super format in Vaishali Nagar, a daily format in Bapu Nagar and four express formats in Bani Park, Jhotwara Road, Adarsh Nagar, and Mansarovar each.
